After a busy and controversial week, its time to turn our focus back to the Cricket. South Africa and Australia will play fourth and final test tomorrow at Johannesburg. South Africa will come to this test high on confidence. Australia, on the other hand, will have to turn off everything which happened off the field and need to turn the focus back to cricket. They will take the field with a new captain & a vice captain, and of course, a new top order.
Ground and Conditions:
Historically, Johannesburg assists pace and bounce. We can expect the same tomorrow. Morne Morkel will play the last test of his career and the pitch will suit him to end the career on high note. ICC rated the pitch poor when India last played South Africa on this ground. The Curator might have worked to ease down the pitch to help the batsman for first few days.
The Weather looks clean for all five days with occasional showers here and there.
Likely Playing XI:
South Africa are likely to take same XI.
SAF Playing XI: D Elgar, A K Markram, Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, F du Plessis (c), T Bavuma, Q de Kock ( WK ), V D Philander, K A Maharaj, K Rabada, M Morkel.
Quite many forced changes expected for Australia. Its hard to predict their exact XI. However, these are the likely XI players who will take the field.
AUS Playing XI: Matt Renshaw, Joe Burns, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Glenn Maxwell/ Handscomb, Mitchell Marsh, Tim Paine(w/c), Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon.
