The table toppers Titans travels Cape Town to face Cape Cobras who are at second in the points table currently. Mighty winning streak of the defending champs Titans confirmed the berth in semi-finals already. Meanwhile four tight wins on the trot for the host Cape Cobras and that makes this game more interesting one. Match 25 between Cape Cobras vs Titans scheduled to start at 6 PM Local | 9:30 PM IST on Friday, 8th December 2017.

Jean-Paul Duminy led-side has registered fourth straight win when they defeated Knights by 5 runs on Wednesday night. Cobras hasn’t reveal their 13-man squad for this game yet, but as their winning run continues will play with an unchanged squad on Friday. Finally, Temba Bavuma found some of his form back in the clash against Knights. He scored 46 off 39 balls with 5 fours. His opening partner Hashim Amla had a good run in the competition, but dismissed for 18 runs last night. He was very consistent in this season, hopefully Amla will be back with another half-century in this game. After George Linde and Kyle Verreynne, it was Aviwe Mgijima’s opportunity to bat at no. 3, he managed to score 10 runs only. Therefore, Linde might get a chance to bat at no. 3 in this game. Captain JP Duminy’s good run continues, he scored lot of runs already and also added 31 more runs in the match against Knights. Duminy’s batting form makes him as a must pick player for Fantasy players.

Qaasim Adams’s poor form continued and he scored only 8 runs in the last game. Ferisco Adams was impressive once again with 2 wickets and 16 runs with a bat. He is the emerging of the season for Cobras and some more better performances are expected from him on Friday. George Linde used to bowl decent spell in last few matches but he mostly remains wicket-less. If he come up in the batting order, he may surprises all with another good knock. After having series of good matches, Rory Klienveldt remained wickets less for the first time in the last game. He is expected to be back strong and no wonder if he picks 3 or more wickets with an economical spell. Mthiwekhaya Nabe did a good job with 2 for 30 in 4 overs. In some case Vernon Philander makes a return to the XI, either Aviwe Mgijima or Qaasim Adams would make a way for him. Dane Paterson was the best bowler of Cobras other night, he claimed 4 for 24 runs in his 4 overs spell and with that effort he earned Man of the match award as well. He may continue to bowl well again but also a chances for him to go expensive against the strong batting unit of Titans.

The defending champions Titans continues their dominant for the third straight season with an undefeated streak. They have played 8 matches, won 6 and other two matches were abandoned due to rain. Titans are currently at top of the table with 32 points which are 14 points ahead of second place Cobras. Titans has announced their squad for this clash and AB de Villiers rested for this game as well. Quinton de Kock will open the innings along with Henry Davids who came at no. 3 in the last game. De Kock struggles in last few games, but the star batsman could play explosive knock at any time. Henry Davids has many failures in the season, but based on the experiences Davids could play a good knock in this game. Aiden Markram was in good form except the last game. He scored 50, 45 and 51 runs respectively before dismissed for 8 runs in the last game. He is also useful part-time bowler who can pick 1 or 2 wickets at crucial times. Dean Elgar and Heinrich Klaasen are in Titans 14-man squad, quite possibly either one of them could get a game and will bat in the middle-order. The in-form batting allrounder Farhaan Behardien smashed another 56 runs in the last game on Sunday. Surprisingly, Behardien remained not out in all 5 innings that he batted and his scores are 37*, 43*, 15*, 36* and 56*.

Captain Albie Morkel made his return after missing a game or two in between due to illness. He scores a handy 27 runs in the last game against Knights. On the absence of ABD, Albie is expected to come up in the order and face more balls. If that happens, he will give you lot more points than you expect. He is also useful with bowl as we all know. All Rounder Chris Morris was back in the side, he didn’t have a quite good game other day. But he could bring some match winning performances in this game. The experienced Dale Steyn started the spell with 2 in 2 against Knights. He finished with 2 for 20 in 4 overs and he could play similar role in this game as well. Malusi Siboto and Junior Dala played a supportive role in the bowling department other day and they will continue the same work in this game too. Lungi Ngidi is named in the squad for this game and he will replace Tony de Zorzi. Ngidi has a chance to become best bowler of the day for Titans, so keep him in your fantasy teams. Tabraiz Shamsi keeps his good work and again picked 2 more wickets in the last match. He is very economical and also picking wickets match by match, so he is one of the must pick bowler in this game.
