The defending champs Titans shown their domination already in the tournament and won three matches in a row. Now they eyes on 4th straight victory when facing Cape Cobras in Centurion on Sunday afternoon. The visitors Cape Cobras head to this clash with two disappointing losses on their back. Ram Slam T20 – Match 9 between Titans vs Cape Cobras is schedule to start at 2:30 PM Local | 6 PM IST on Sunday, 19th November 2017.

Three clinical performances from Titans gifted them three consecutive victories. With those wins, the defending champions are dominating the points table already. Now they have 14 points with very strong net run rate of +2.573. After rested in the game against Warriors last night, the star player AB de Villiers makes his return to the side in this home game. Not only ABD, the Titans bring in bowling all-rounder Chris Morris to the squad who sidelined for last few months with back problems. Dean Elgar is the man who dropped from this 14-man squad. Titans squad looks strong and dominating with batsmen like AB de Villiers, Quinton de Kock, Farhaan Behardien, Henry Davids and Aiden Markram. The wicket-keeper cum aggressive batsman Quinton de Kock didn’t fire-up in last two outings. Guess, it may be his day and expecting some powerful innings from him on Sunday. Except that half-century against Knights, Henry Davids dismissed for single-digit scores in other two matches. Some good contributions are expected from this experienced batsman. Aiden Markram made a mark not only with a bat, also with a bowl last night. He is in red-hot form with a bat and scored 50 and 45 runs respectively in last two innings. With a ball he surprised all when he claimed 3 for 21 in 4 overs against Warriors on Friday. Keeping him in your fantasy team would be a sensible move. AB de Villiers offered lots of entertainment in first two matches, as back in the side now expecting more firework from Mr. 360. Batting all-rounder Farhaan Behardien continued the fireworks in the game against Warriors. He smashed an unbeaten 37 off 14 against Knights on Wednesday, then 2 days later he extended his dominance when he strikes 43 off 24 against Warriors on Friday night. He is the weight-age of Titans middle-order at the moment and we could expect more runs from him in this game.

Skipper Albie Morkel was very good with both bat and bowl in first two matches. Especially in the first game he shown complete dominance at this same venue in Centurion. On Friday night, he contributed with a bat by scoring 33 off 24 balls but as Titans has strong bowling attack Albie didn’t bowl in that game and gave a chances to younger players in the team. As Chris Morris has been included in the squad, some possible chances for Dale Steyn to take rest on Sunday. Steyn has bowled decent spells in both of the matches he played and claimed a tally of 3 wickets. But as the rule says only 5 white players are allow to play in the XI, Steyn will be the possible one to make a way for Chris Morris. The left-arm spinner Shamsi once again bowled a good spell and added 2 more wickets to his kitty. Malusi Siboto bowled 4 overs and picked 2 for 38 against Kinghts but he used for just one over spell in the last game. Junior Dala wasn’t at his best in last two matches but he will keep his place safe in the XI on Sunday. The young 21-years old Lungi Ngidi bowled an exceptional spell of 4 for 14 in just 2.2 overs. He also bowled a maiden over in that game against Warriors on Friday night. He earned national call-up after his impressive show last year, now again he impressed with spell like that. David Wiese and Heinrich Klaasen will warm the bench once again.

Top South African international players Hashim Amla, JP Duminy, Temba Bavuma, Wayne Parnell and Vernon Philander all are representing Cape Cobras side in this year competition. But still Cobras faced back-to-back losses in those two matches they have played. The major worry for the team is poor bowling efforts from all the bowlers. Richard Levi who known as dominating and hard-hitting opener, failed in both matches with the scores of just 7 and 0 respectively. If he recover well in quick time and start to play his shots on Sunday, he will give a solid momentum to Cobras. He couldn’t be on poor form always his time will come soon, hopefully, he will fire all his cylinders in this crucial game. Hashim Amla gave his best in both matches by scoring 52 and 36 runs respectively. He scored those runs at very good strike rates. We can expect much better knock from this stylish opener on Sunday. After missed out cricket for last few months, finally Wayne Parnell made his return to competitive cricket on Friday night. The bowling all-rounder batted at no. 3 for Cobras on Friday and he scored useful 33 off 26 balls. But he wasn’t at his best with a bowl where he conceded 37 runs for none in 4 overs. Parnell is one of the regular wicket-taking bowler in the country, so hope for 2 for more wickets in his spell against Titans. Bavuma started well other day but unfortunately lost his wicket for 28 runs (18 balls). After ran-out for just 1 run in the first game, JP Duminy played a captain’s knock in the last game against Lions. He scored quick-fire 55 off 31 balls but once again dismissed in the form of run out. He is the useful bowler with his part-time off-spin and that may come into play on Sunday.

Batsman Aviwe Mgijima played a good knock of 37 off 19 balls against Dolphins, then he struggled to score runs quickly against Lions. He will keep his place safe in the XI but not sure how well he bats in this game against the strong bowling unit of Titans. As plenty of top players bats up in the order, Qaasim Adams came to bat at no. 7 on Friday. He is the quality middle-order batsman and he deserves a better batting position than no. 7. All-rounder Vernon Philander bowled contrast spells in last two games. After conceded huge 49 runs in the first game, he came back well with a controlled spell of 1 for 26 in 4 overs. He has to bowl well economical spell against the strong batting unit of Titans to control the flow of runs. No clue why they keep on giving chances to Dane Paterson. He conceded a total of 82 runs in 8 overs in last two innings and remained wicket-less in both occasions. If Cape Cobras feels that they had enough with Paterson, the veteran bowler Rory Klienveldt will make his return to the XI on Sunday. He is very useful bowler who could pick wickets and also score runs at monstrous strike-rate in lower-order. Mthiwekhaya Nabe and George Linde had played a supportive roles with a bowl and bowled decent spells too. Nabe will keep his place in the XI while some sort of chances for Jason Smith to replaces Linde if Cobras adds more strength to their batting line-up. Jason Smith is also capable of picking wickets with his part-time pace bowling. His best T20 figures are 4 for 4 runs, also he maintains a strike-rate at 134 with a bat and that shows his value in the team.
