As the tournament poised it well after one-third of matches were over in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, national capital Dhaka hosts one more double-header on Saturday. In the first match of Super Saturday the home team and the defending champs Dhaka Dynamites takes on Rajshahi Kings. This is going to be the re-match of last year’s final. Match 19 between Dhaka Dynamites vs Rajshahi Kings scheduled to start at 1 PM Local | 12:30 PM IST on Saturday, 18th November 2017.

The defending champions Dhaka Dynamites sits pretty at top of the points table with 7 points. They have played 5 matches so far, in those matches they won 3, lost 1 and the last match was abandoned due to rain. Dynamites has a mighty Net Run rate of +1.971 at this stage of the tournament. The arrival of legendary Shahid Afridi brought in lot of confidence and positive vibes to the team and that was clearly shown in their recent matches. After quite long time, Afridi opened the innings in T20 match last week and the Boom Boom man smashed 37 off just 17 balls in that game. He might be back to the opening position for this game and if he gets going again then you will earn too many fantasy points. He stunned the opposition with his leg-break and picked 4 for 12 against Sixers. Afridi is expected to come with all-round performances again in this game. West Indies opener Evin Lewis continuing his good form from match 1. He dismissed only for 4 runs in the last outing, but can’t judge him with that one poor game. The magical spinner Sunil Narine opened the innings in the last game as we expected. But he may go back to down in the order on Saturday. As usual Narine does a great job with a ball and that would continue against Kings too. Cameron Delport played an aggressive knocks in first two innings and scored 20* and 64 runs respectively. But in the last innings he managed to score only 2 runs. Chances are 50/50 for him to be in the XI on Saturday. If he drops, legendary Kumar Sangakkara will replace him in this game.

Captain Shakib al Hasan yet to produce his best with both bat and bowl. He went expensive in almost every innings in the tournament. He contributes with some important runs but he could offer better than what he did in first 4 innings. Finally, Jahurul Islam got an opportunity to bat for Dynamites in the game against Titans and he took the team home with a fine knock of 45 off 39 balls. With that match winning performances Jahurul will keep his place in the team for few more matches at least. The stunning show by all-rounder Kieron Pollard brought Dynamites back in the contest against Titans. Pollard who waited for his chances for long time, smashed 55 runs off just 24 balls with 3 fours and 6 mighty sixes. There will no surprise if we witness one more dominating show from Pollard on Saturday. Dynamites replaced the bowler Mohammad Shahid with the extra batsman Nadif Chowdhury in the last game. But Nadif didn’t get chance to offer anything in that game. He may misses out in the XI and make a way to Shahid who was dropped in the last game. Remember Shahid was Dynamites most successful bowler in past years. Abu Hider Rony used to pick wickets in every innings but sometimes he bowls expensive spells. In the last innings, he picked 2 wickets but conceded 40 runs in 4 overs. Expecting him to bowl economical spell with 2 or more wickets in this game.

Captain Darren Sammy returned to the XI and Kings registered their second win on Friday evening. It was timing victory for the Rajshahi franchise and with that win they moved from bottom of the table to 5th position. The runners up of last year Kings faced lot of tough moments in their first four games. Finally the clinical all-around performances from them clinch a victory against Sylhet Sixers on Friday. Along with Darren Sammy, Samit Patel and Zakir Hasan were back in the XI against Sixers. As the combination worked out well for the team, they are expected to go with the same XI against Dynamites. Lendl Simmons who was impressive with the bat sidelined with an injury. On his absence Bangladesh duo Mominul Haque and Rony Talukdar opened the innings for Kings and they gave a solid start in that game. Mominul Haque shined with fighting 46 runs while Talukdar managed to score 24 runs. They will open the innings once again in this game on Saturday. Samit Patel was dropped for two games because of his failure with both bat and bowl. As expected he was in the side against Sixers and did a good job with a ball. But he once again failed with the bat. He thrown away his wicket only for 1 run. He is one of the best T20 player in T20 Blast tournament and he is the specialist player too. That will help him to keep his place in the XI. The young Zakir Hasan has played his first match of the season and made an impression straight away with a stunning half-century. He was unbeaten and led the team to victory with 51 off 26 balls. We can expect one more good performance from him on Saturday.

Mushfiqur Rahim remained unbeaten with 25 off 20 balls on Friday. He is the most experienced Bangladesh player in the team but as other local players gets more opportunity at top of the order, Rahim yet to score half-century in the season. Skipper Darren Sammy used all his experiences and did a good job with captaincy. He is hard-hitting and well known player and he is expected to bowl at some stage of the tournament. James Franklin has a big role to play with both ball and bat in this big clash. The young off-spinner Mehidy Hasan bowled an amazing spell of 1 for 12 in 4 overs against Sixers on Friday. He is the trump card bowler of Kings in the power-play overs. The overseas pace bowlers Mohammad Sami and Kesrick Williams are expected to continue for Kings in this game. Sami claimed early wicket but finished with 1 for 36 against Sixers on Friday. No wonder if Sami comes with an economical spell and 2 or more wickets against mighty Dynamites. Kesrick Williams finally got his rhythm back in the last game against Sixers. He conceded only 13 runs in his first 3 overs but 19 runs were conceded in the last over of his spell. The T20 specialist bowler will come with wicket taking spell at any time. Farhad Reza was too expensive in the last game. He knew the tricks to pick wickets but his expensive spells might throw him away from the XI. If any changes in the XI, either Naeem Islam Jnr or Kazi Anik will take a place of Reza.
