With 1 win and 1 loss each in Sylhet leg, both Chittagong Vikings and Khulna Titans begins their Dhaka leg on Sunday. After the first week in Bangladesh Premier League – Season 5, Vikings and Titans sits at no. 5 and 6th position in the points table, respectively. The team which wins this game will move forward in the points table. Match 11 between Chittagong Vikings vs Khulna Titans is scheduled to start at 1 PM Local | 12:30 PM IST on Sunday, 12th November 2017.

The firing batting of the opener Luke Ronchi was the only best thing happened for Chittagong Vikings in the first two matches. Rest of the batsman struggled to score runs quickly and also wasted the momentum which created by Ronchi at top of the order. Bowlers were too expensive in the first game, but managed to bowl control spells to ensure a thrilling win against Riders on Wednesday. Luke Ronchi will open the batting again along with Soumya Sarkar. Vikings requires another firing knock from their wicket keeping opener Ronchi. Soumya Sarkar played some decent knock in the first game, but failed completely in the last game where he scored only 7. He was in good form in the T20I series against South Africa last month, guess he will get back him form in this game. Dilshan Munaweera managed to score 21 and 20 runs respectively, but his strike-rate would be the problem for the team. He may get one more chance on Sunday, hopes for some good show from him this time. In case Munaweera dropped then Najibullah Zadran or Liam Dawson will replace him in the XI. Anamul Haque should be used much better, he batted at no. 6 in the last game but he deserved to bat up in the order.

Captain Misbah-ul-Haq managed to score unbeaten 31 runs against Riders but he faced 32 balls to score those runs. If he comes with better strike-rate that would help the team in a big way. All-rounder Luis Reece failed with the bat in both matches but he contributes well with a bowl. He bowled 2 economical overs in the first game and claimed 2 for 26 in the last game. He will keep his place in the playing XI. Just like Anamul Haque, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza also deserves much better opportunities in the side. He batted at no. 7 in the first game and did not get chance to bat in a second. He should be send up in the order on Sunday. He bowled two economical spells in last two matches, hopefully, will serve better this time with both bat and bowl. Vikings replaced Suhrawadi Shuvo with the all-rounder Tanbir Hayder which went well for the side. Tanbir didn’t get an opportunity to bat but contributed with well economical spell. Sunzamul Islam might lose his place in the XI due to expensive bowling. If he not in the XI, either Al-Amin or Alauddin Babu will get a chance on Sunday. Finally, Taskin Ahmed came with man of the match performance in the last game. He was struggling on the tour of South Africa and also bowled poor spell in the first game. He claimed 3 for 31 in 4 overs and that spell brought in Vikings into the game again. Subashis Roy was the only bowler who picked wickets for Vikings against Victorians but he leaked some runs in the last game. Finished with 1 for 35 in his 4 overs spell. Hopes for much improved performances from him on Sunday.

Khulna Titans were started their season with heaviest 65 runs defeat against Dhaka Dynamites. But they found a way to be back in winning ways with their all-around performances against Sylhet Sixers on Wednesday. The captain of the team Mahmudullah Riyad led from the front and earned player of the match reward for his all-round show. Except for Abu Jayed, rest of the bowlers gone very expensive in the first game. But in the last game, every bowler did a great job except Abu Jayed. Titans bowled out for 137 runs when they were chasing 200+ target against Dynamites in the first game. Michael Klinger’s matured batting with Mahmudullah and Brathwaite’s supportive knocks, Titans chased down the target with ease against Sixers. After two failures in two matches, the opener Nazmul Hossain Shanto may lose his place to either Dhiman Ghosh or Saif Hassan. Chadwick Walton scored 13-balls 30 runs in the first match, also got a good start in a second but dismissed for 11 runs. He may play a key role for Titans on Sunday. Austrlaia’s Michael Klinger batted well as he always does and scored an unbeaten 47 runs off 36 balls. No surprise if he comes with much better knock against Vikings. Rilee Rossouw has an average outings in both matches. He scored 23 and 19 runs respectively. He will keep his place, but as all-rounder Benny Howell joined the squad, some fair chances for him to make in the XI.

Captain Mahmudullah played a major role in Titans’ last year run and he did the same on other night against Sixers. He is a key player and must pick from Titans lineups. After had a poor game against Dynamites, Carlos Brathwaite came back well with an handy knock of 23* off 16 balls and also with a spell of 0 for 24 in 4 overs. No wonder if he lose his place to Kyle Abbott who is available for the selection. Domestic player Ariful Haque was in a good form before BPL kick starts. He did not get enough batting opportunities till now which will keep him in the XI on Sunday. Young Jofra Archer did a fabulous job in both matches. With a ball, he picked 3 wickets in 2 matches and also scored fighting 36 off 24 balls in the first game. He deserves a place in the XI of Titans. Poor performances of Mosharraf Hossain will open the gate for youngsters Muktar Ali and Saif Hossain. Either one of them have a chance to be in the XI on Sunday. Shafiul Islam picked up 2 wickets but bowled an expensive over against Dynamites. He came back well with 1 for 20 in 4 overs against Sixers. He is a main domestic bowler in Titans squad and expecting to live up to the expectations. Abu Jayed bowled an expensive spell in the last match. But the same bowler did a great job in the first game, which means he will get a second chance to showcase his skills.
