As three match T20I series leveled 1-1, the last T20I of the series turning now as thrilling Final. Bowlers of Team India gone through deep in Australia’s batting order which assured a win for India. Same as gone on Australia’s way when it bowlers bowled out India inside 20 overs and confirmed 1-1 in the series. The third and Final T20I match between India vs Australia is scheduled to start at 7 PM Local | 12:30 AM AEDT (next day) on Friday, 13th October 2017.
Complete batting collapse in the last match puts India into the situation of playing a decider in Hyderbad on Friday. Virat Kohli and his men gave their best efforts in the first match, but a poor batting display caused them a match and also a lead of 2-0 in the series. Two back-to-back failures puts Rohit Sharma under pressure and he is in a situation of playing a big knock as series on the line on Friday. Shikhar Dhawan who remained not out for 15 runs in the first game, failed with just 2 runs on Tuesday. Both openers were in very good form for past several months, they are a key players and expecting better performances in this final match. The captain of the side, Virat Kohli unluckily dismissed for duck out in the last match. He is the no. 1 batsman in the ICC T20I batsmen rankings, he will be back with good knock and will give you lot of fantasy points in this game. Manish Pandey had an enough opportunity on this home tour which may allow KL Rahul to come inside the XI in place of Manish Pandey. Dinesh Karthik who has plenty of experiences in the format with IPL and T20Is, has a chance to replaces Manish Pandey as well. The wicket keeper MS Dhoni had a great outing in an ODI series against both Sri Lanka and Australia. He managed to score only 13 runs in the last match and he failed to reclaiming the team from the disaster. He is one of the most experienced T20 player in the world and that would help him to perform in this crucial clash on Friday. Kedar Jadhav was the highest run scorer of India, scored 27 runs in the last game. He is the key T20 batsman in the middle-order who has capabilities of finishing the innings in high note.
The all rounder Hardik Pandya came to bat at a crucial stage of Indian innings. He struggled to score in early part of his innings, but managed to score handy 25 runs on Tuesday. He bowled only 2 overs in that last game, hopefully he will come with full fledged all round performances on Friday. India played with 2 spinners and pace bowlers in first two matches, but they might do changes in their bowling unit for this game. The veteran pace bowler Ashish Nehra has announced his retirement from all formats of the game on Thursday. As he announced retirement and played for Sunrisers Hyderbad in the IPL, he has plenty of chances to get a match in Hyderabad on Friday. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and he has amount of experiences on this ground. He will play a big role in India’s pace attack on Friday. As Sunrisers Hyderabad used to play with 3 pacers at this venue, India also likely to go with 3 pacers Bhuvneshwar, Bumrah and Nehra on Friday. After that memorable bowling performances in Ranchi, spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal gone expensive in the last game. Especially Kuldeep Yadav conceded 1 for 46 runs in his 4 overs and Chahal bowled wicket less spell. Axar Patel has an opportunity to be back in the XI by replacing either Kuldeep or Chahal as well.
As the captain Steven Smith withdrawn just a day before the first match of the on-going T20I series, his deputy David Warner leads the time in the series. Australia lost the first match under Warner’s captaincy, but he bounced back so well and presented a victory to his team with his quality captaining skills. Tremendous bowling effort of new international cricketer Jason Behrendorff helped his side to level the series. Rest of the bowlers in the team utilized the momentum gave by Behrendorff and bowled well throughout the innings. After losing the openers early, Travis Head and Moises Henriques took a responsibilities and chased down the target of 122 with 27 balls to spare. Australian players boosted up with that big win in Guwahati and takes that confident to this series deciding final on Friday. David Warner will open the innings as usual with his regular partner Aaron Finch. The plus point of Warner would be playing at his IPL home. He was the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and he scored plenty of runs at this ground, including big centuries in different occasions. He is the big key factor of Australia in this game. Aaron Finch who started the series with 42 runs in Ranchi, only scored 8 runs in the last game. Plenty of expectation on his shoulders and expecting him to deliver the goods at right moment. Moises Henriques promoted to no. 3 in the batting order and that paid off when he scored match winning 62 off 46 balls. He is another Sunrisers player who has amount of experiences at this venue. Travis Head got into international cricket with a tag of T20 specialist and he proved that in various situations. On Tuesday, he proved the point once again with 48 not out off 34 balls. He has chances to play a key role in this game again.
The batting all rounder Glenn Maxwell batted at no. 3 in the first match and scored 17 runs. As he moved down in the batting order, didn’t get his opportunity to bat in the last game. He is a big hitter and the nature of Hyderabad pitch will help him to score big runs in this final. Marcus Stoinis replaced Daniel Christian in the last game and he justified his selection with the spell of 1 for 20 in 4 overs. He will retains his place in the XI. He is well capable for big scores and he will bat in the middle-order. The only specialist wicket keeper in the squad, Tim Paine may promote up in the order as he played plenty of T20 cricket in top 4 in the batting order. As all the pacers done their part very well in the last game, Australia will go with same attack unless any injury concern occurs at last moment. Jason Behrendorff claimed 4 for 21 in his very second T20I match and he turns as a new threat for the opposition. He done his part so well in various seasons of Big Bash League and that experience helps him at right time. Andrew Tye is the other important bowler in this side, there could be no surprises if he picks more than 3 wickets in this game. Same goes for the experienced Nathan Coulter-Nile as well. Adam Zampa found his rhythm in the last game and picked 2 for 19 runs in 4 overs spell. He is expected to continue his good work in the final match of the tour.
