After completed Mysuru leg, the on-going Karnataka Premier League shifted to Hubli and on the first match of Hubli leg, the home team Hubli Tigers takes on Mysuru Warriors on Thursday. Hubli Tigers who are at second in the points table will move to top spot if they win this match, meanwhile Mysuru Warriors would go up to third spot if they earns two points in this game. Match 15 between Hubli Tigers vs Mysuru Warriors is scheduled to start at 7 PM IST on Thursday, 14th September 2017.

After registered hat-trick of wins in first three matches, Vinay Kumar led-side lost their last match to Bijapur Bulls. With 3 wins and 1 loss, Hubli Tigers are sitting at second in the points table with 6 points and net run rate of +0.242. Notable point is Hubli Tigers chased down the target successfully in those first three matches, but they failed to win the game when they batted first in the last game. Mayank Agarwal, the experienced batsman in the side used to open the innings along with Anurag Bajpai. After back-to-back failures, Anurag Bajpai moved down to middle-order in third game. Abhishek Reddy opened the innings in that game and scored stunning 67 runs. Bajpai was back into opening spot on Sunday and failed to score runs once again, which means Abhishek Reddy has a chance to open the innings in this game. Mayank Agarwal scored 11 and 10 runs in first two matches, then he came with match winning performances of 92* off 58 balls against Namma Shivamogga in third match and he also scored 33 against Bulls in the last game. He is a must pick batsman from Hubli Tigers and expecting another brisk innings from him on Thursday.

Krishnamurthy Siddharth who won player of the match award in the first match, scored 34 runs in the last game on Sunday. He steadies Tigers batting in the middle-order and he should be in your fantasy teams. The young batsman Swapnil Yelave replaced the all rounder Ritesh Bhatkal in the last game and managed to score 23 runs in the middle-order. He might get another chance in this game. Ritesh Bhatkal was dropped after continuous failure in the season. But based on his experiences, he might get a game on Thursday. Captain Vinay Kumar is the pillar strength of Tigers, who shows consistent performances with both bat and bowl. He shown all round performances in first two matches. He had an average game on Sunday, but he could be bounce back quickly and perform better in this game.

The bowling all rounder Praveen Dubey doing a good job with bat at lower middle-order than contributing with a bowl. The 24-year old contributed with the bat in almost each innings in the season. Kranthi Kumar is the other bowling all rounder who finishes the innings with his power-hitting abilities for Tigers. He claimed only 2 wickets in 4 matches, but expecting him to come with all round performances in this clash. The key and wicket taking bowler of Tigers right now is Abhishek Sakuja. He claimed 11 wickets already in 4 matches with the best spell of 4 for 21 against Bulls. He is a key bowler and deserves a place in all your fantasy teams. Aman Khan continue to utilize his chances and picked 3 wickets till now. He used to bowl decent spells for Hubli Tigers.

Mysuru Warriors won first two matches in a row and then lost next two matches in a row too. Warriors registered victories when Karun Nair led the team in first two games, but once he gone to play Duleep Trophy things were changed and Warriors lost two matches in a row. As Karun Nair’s next match for India Green starts on September 19, that means he is expected to be available for this game on Thursday. If Karun playing this game, he will open the innings along with one of the experienced opener in KPL, Arjun Hoysala. After two back-to-back 30+ scores, Hoysala did not shine in last two matches. He is well experienced and expecting to be back in form with big knock on Thursday. The wicket keeper batsman KC Avinash opened the innings on the absence of Karun Nair. If Nair is not available Avinash will keep the opening spot where he scored 47 and 15 runs respectively in last two matches. Vinit Yadav wasted all his opportunities and scored only 19 runs in 3 matches at poor strike rate of less than 80. He may drop for this game and R Prateeksh might take his spot.

The acting captain Suneel Raju played a good knock of 78 off 51 balls in the last game against Tuskers. He is a good experienced batsman in Warriors middle-order who has huge responsibilities on his shoulder. KL Shrijith got an opportunities in the last game and managed to score 16 runs off 14 balls. He may get second chance in this game. The all rounder Shreyas Gopal is yet to show all round performances in the season. He generally shows match winning performances with both bat and ball in KPL, but this time around he struggles to score runs and to pick wickets. He is a match winner and as Warriors in a situation of win remaining matches, Gopal might play key role in this game. The left-arm spinner Jagadeesha Suchith claimed only 2 wickets in 4 innings. He is the other key spinner in Mysuru Warriors who yet to play big role in the season.

The middle-order batsman SP Manjunath scored 49 runs in 4 innings this season. He scored 18 off just 7 balls in the first game when he batted at 4 in the order. Since that game, Warriors used him in lower middle-order and that affected his contribution. He may back to 4th in the order and play good knock in this game. NP Bhareth plays the role of lower order batsman in Warriors squad. The pacer Vyshak Vijaykumar bowled good spells in first two games and claimed 4 wickets. In last 2 games, he gone expensive and claimed only 2 wickets. He remains as a key bowler of Warriors and the 20-years old bowler expected to play better role against Tigers.
