The home team England took 2-0 lead after that huge win in the third ODI on Sunday. As two more matches remaining in this five match series, the visitors West Indies is in the situation of winning both the matches to draw the series. At the same time, England just one win away to seal the series at home. Fourth ODI between England vs West Indies is scheduled to start at 12:30 PM Local | 5 PM IST on Wednesday, 27th September 2017.

Eoin Morgan led-side have registered a big 124 runs victory against West Indies in the last ODI on Sunday. With that win, England lead the five match series 2-0 at the moment and they required one more win to seal the series. The big century by Moeen Ali and half-centuries by Joe Root and Ben Stokes helped England side to post the total of mammoth 369 runs in the last game. While defending the huge target, Liam Plunkett’s five wicket haul and Adil Rashid’s 3 wickets haul bowled out the opposition for 245 runs. England’s domination in ODIs at home soil continued with that big win. The team takes lots of positives from that game and heading London to play the 4th ODI on Wednesday. The big news coming from London, Ben Stokes and Alex Hales have been suspended for Wednesday’s ODI against West Indies, An ECB statement said on Tuesday. Alex Hales and Jonny Bairstow opened the innings for England in the series, but as Hales is not available now, Jason Roy will open the innings along with Bairstow. The occasional wicket keeping batsman Bairstow has scored an unbeaten century in the first ODI of the series. He managed to score only 13 runs on Sunday, but he could be back with big runs on Wednesday. Jason Roy who gave up his opening spot to Bairstow due to an average form, makes his return to the ODI cricket and expecting good come back knock from him as he looking to make a statement with runs.

The promising and consistent batsman Joe Root is in good form, he scored back-to-back half-centuries in last two innings. In the first game, Root scored 54 runs and also scored 84 off 79 balls on Sunday. The captain Eoin Morgan’s poor form continued on Sunday when he dismissed for golden duck. Morgan is the pillar of England middle-order in ODIs, but his current form makes the team worry. It could be great for him, if he comes with 50+ runs on Wednesday. On the absence of Ben Stokes, either Tom Curran or Jake Ball will come into the XI, unless England add any all rounder into their squad at last moment. Jos Buttler, the wicket keeper batsman dismissed for only 2 runs on Sunday. As England has big vacancy in the middle-order due to unavailable Ben Stokes, Buttler’s responsibilities are increased and he is in a position of scoring big runs with his power hitting skills. Moeen Ali was the match winner of England on Sunday, who scored 102 runs off just 57 balls with 7 fours and 8 sixes. It was an unbelievable knock from the left-handed all rounder and it came after very long time for Moeen. He might carry forward that form into this game and quite possible he has chances to come with all round performances once again. The bowling all rounder Chris Woakes had a good game with both bat and bowl on Sunday. He scored handy 34 runs with bat and bowled at 4.50 runs per over in the high-scoring game. He is a key player and he could surprises you with his all round performances at any time. David Willey had bowled another expensive spell in the last game. He conceded 34 runs in his 4 overs spell, but as the shortage of bowlers Willey is expected to keep his place in the XI. Liam Plunkett proved once again that he is the most impact bowler in England unit, when he picked 5 for 51 in the third ODI. Keep him in your fantasy teams to get assured points. Adil Rashid, the leg-spinner has grabbed 5 wickets in 2 innings. On Sunday, Rashid picked 3 for 34 in his 6 overs spell. He also a good choice to pick in your teams.

The champions of shorter format, yet to find their winning ways in 50-overs cricket. West Indies side surprised England in second test match and also defeated the home team in the one-off T20I. But they yet to register a win in the on-going ODI series. As West Indies forced to play World Cup qualifier for World Cup 2019, Jason Holder led-side is in hurry to be win some matches in an ODI format. Chris Gayle’s arrival is the biggest boost for the visitors and he performed well in those two innings. West Indies bowlers gone very expensive in the last game where they allowed England to post 369 runs in 50 overs. The part-timer Rovman Powell was the only bowler who bowled under 5 runs per over in that game for West Indies. Miguel Cummins claimed 3 wickets on Sunday, but he conceded 82 runs in his 9 overs. While chasing the mammoth total, Chris Gayle was the only batsman who scored an half-century. Apart from him, Jason Mohammed and Holder contributed with 30+ runs respectively, others walked back with cheap scores. Chris Gayle opened the innings with his St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots partner Evin Lewis. Gayle managed to score 37 off 27 balls in the first ODI, then he came with fighting knock of 94 runs off 78 balls in the last game. He has huge amount of responsibilities on his shoulders, hopefully he will fulfill the expectation with another big knock on Wednesday. Evin Lewis surprises all with a big score at an unexpected time, he scored only 11 and 13 runs in last 2 innings, but the hard-hitter has chances to bring big scores on this game.

The wicket keeper batsman Shai Hope is the find of the year for West Indies cricket, who shined with runs in all three formats managed to score 35 and 20 runs respectively in last 2 innings. He takes time to settle down, once he settles in the middle, will score runs at good strike rate. He is a key player and deserves a place in all your teams. The experienced Marlon Samuels struggling to score runs and waste the opportunities comes in his way. He might make a way for Kyle Hope in this game. The vice captain Jason Mohammed scored lot of runs in ODIs during West Indies home season earlier this year and he played some handy knock on Sunday as well. He is a good player and hope for some good contributions from him on Wednesday. Rovman Powell shined with a bowl in the last game, where he picked 1 for 38 in 8 overs, but managed to score only 8 runs with a bat. He was overlooked in ODIs, just started to get his chances on this tour. He is well talented all rounder, has chances to come with all round performances in this game. Captain Jason Holder has came with scores of 41* and 34 runs respectively in last two matches. With those scores, he gives confidence of scoring runs at lower middle-order once again. He picked 2 wickets in the last game but conceded 81 runs in 10 overs. If he come with good economical spell, he will give you lot of points with this game. West Indies continue to play with two spinners Ashley Nurse and Devendra Bishoo. Both of them struggled to pick wickets and also to bowl an economical spells. Hopefully, things will change at the Oval on Wednesday. Kesrick Williams was dropped in the last game after conceded 50 runs in 6 overs in the first match. His replacement Miguel Cummins picked 3 wickets in the last game, but he gave away 82 runs. That means, chances are high for Kesrick to be in the XI on Wednesday. The experienced Jerome Taylor used to bowl some good spells in power-play overs and that would keep his place safe in the XI.
