GUYANA AMAZON WARRIORS :

This will be the big game for Martin Guptill and co. After played half of league matches, Amazon Warriors has only win and looks for turn around in this series of home matches. As only 5 matches are remaining, Amazon Warriors are in a position to win as many matches possible to stay alive in the competition. They lost their first home match to Jamaica Tallawahs on Thursday night. Guyana Amazon Warriors’ season started with back to back losses to St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in Florida. Then they faced third loss in a row, this time against Trinbago Knight Riders. In their fourth match Warriors faced St Lucia Stars and registered their first win of the season. On Thursday night, failed to chase down simple target of 129 runs and fell short by 2 runs against Jamaica Tallawahs. Warriors bowlers done their job well by controlling Tallawahs batsmen for 128 for 7 in 20 overs. While chasing the target, Warriors batsmen had 6 wickets in hand but still finished at losing side. It wasn’t big target and they had enough wickets in hand but still lost that game.

New Zealand’s Martin Guptill leads the team, the opening has huge amount of responsibility on his shoulders. He is known for quick scoring in the top order, but he scored at poor strike rate of 80 in last two matches. He runs were 23 off 28 balls against St Lucia Stars and 33 runs off 41 balls against Jamaica Tallawahs. He is pressure situation of scoring runs with better strike rate when facing Knight Riders on Saturday. His opening partner Chadwick Walton done his part well in almost each innings. He scored 60, 10, 36, 33 and 37 runs respectively, the wicket keeper also gives you fantasy points with his gloves work behind the stumps. Pakistan’s batting sensation Babar Azam is playing for Warriors. There were lot of expectations on him, but he wasted all his opportunities in last 5 matches. He scored total of 79 runs off 95 balls in 5 innings, that proves his bad form at the moment. Due to shortages of overseas players, Babar will get another chance in this game, he may overcome with the tough times and play match winning knock for Warriors. Jason Mohammed is pillar of Warriors middle-order batting. He done fabulous job in previous season, but having mixed season this time around. He is yet to score an half-century or more in this on-going season, hopefully that big knock will come at right time on Saturday.

New comer Roshon Primus also failed to impress as he struggled in the middle-order. Chances are high for him to make a way for Asad Fudadin or Steven Taylor. Gajanand Singh played 2 good knocks in 3 innings. He will keep his place in the XI and expects much better job from him once he gets an opportunity to bat on Saturday. The all rounder Rayad Emrit claimed 8 wickets in 5 matches and 6 out of those 8 wickets came in last 2 matches. He did not get much of opportunity to bat in the season, but his bowling form will help you to get crucial fantasy points. The off-spinner Steven Jacobs contributing well with his economical spells and also with wickets. He picked 6 wickets in 4 innings and expects more in this game. Afghanistan’s magical leggie Rashid Khan plays for Amazon Warriors. Unexpectedly, the 18-years old has an average season where he claimed only 4 wickets in 5 innings and also concedes lot of runs frequently. He bowled match winning spell of 2 for 9 against Stars, except that spell he did not bowl an impressive spells yet. Rashid won many matches with his magical spin, hopefully he will back strong in this game for Warriors. The veteran pace bowler from Pakistan Sohail Tanvir is the leader of Warriors bowling attack. He had some good and poor matches in the season, but he bowled too good spell in the last game against Tallawahs. He is a key bowler and may surprises you with more than 2 or 3 wickets.

TRINBAGO KNIGHT RIDERS :

The title winners of 2015, Trinbago Knight Riders started their season in high note with 5 wins out of 6 matches. The only loss came against Jamaica Tallawahs. Knight Riders dominated in rest other matches and had well convincing wins every time. Now they has hat-trick of wins in last 3 matches and looking forward to continue their good run. With 10 points, they almost confirmed their place in the Play-offs. But to assure the place and steady their top spot, Knight Riders needs a win in this particular game against Amazon Warriors. Knight Riders had a laugh against Warriors in the first meet last week and they would look to repeat the same in this match as well. Hashim Amla might be available for this game, once he comes into the XI, he will take openers role from Sunil Narine. The veteran opener Brendon McCullum has scored only 55 runs in last 5 innings. But the hard-hitting could change the fortune of the game at any moment. The magical spinner Sunil Narine played a good role at top of the order, but the arrival of Amla may move him down to middle-order. Narine claimed 7 wickets in 6 innings with his well controlled spells. He also scored match winning 79 runs against Tridents last week. Keep him in your teams and he will give you lot of fantasy points.

Colin Munro is the consistent batsman of Knight Riders in the season. He played 4 match winning knocks for Riders with scores of 66*, 41, 70* and 36 runs respectively. He deserves a place in all fantasy teams. Darren Bravo has lot of things to prove as he yet to score an half-century in the season. He will keep his place in the XI, but he has to score runs or else will lose his chances in the upcoming matches. Heroic batting of Denesh Ramdin won the game for Riders against Patriots on Monday. He played two match winning knocks for the team already and as a wicket keeper he might deserved a place in your team. Captain of the team, the experienced all rounder Dwayne Bravo has an average season till now. He picked total of 8 wickets in 6 matches and used to concedes runs often. He also needs to play much more aggressive with bat in the end overs. All rounder from Pakistan, Shadab Khan plays a huge role in Knight Riders success this year. The leg-spinner claimed 10 wickets in 6 matches and won man of the match awards in 3 different occasions already. He is a match winner and deserves a place in each fantasy team.

Kevon Cooper is the other well performing all rounder in Knight Riders camp. He picked 9 wickets, with the best spell of 3 for 21 against Stars. Expecting another good spell of bowling from Cooper, he could offer runs with bat as well. Javon Searles may misses out for this game, if Amla joins the XI. Ronsford Beaton would get another game on Saturday, who picked only 3 wickets in 4 innings. He is young and well capable bowler, he may surprises with 2+ wickets in this game. Anderson Phillip got a game in the last match and he finished with none for 26 in 3 overs. As he deserves another chance, he might get a game on Saturday. Khary Pierre and Nikita Miller are other available bowling options for Knight Riders.
