At the same time, South Africa leg-spinner Imran Tahir demoted to the third position from the No.1 slot as he managed just two wickets in the just concluded T20 series against England.
In the batting list, followed by Kohli, Australia’s Aaron Finch and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson have grabbed the second and third positions.
Among the batsmen South Africa skipper AB de Villiers and England opener Jason Roy were the biggest movers as they have been benefited from the just concluded series.
De Villers, who was the highest run-scorer in the T20 series against England, has found himself in the 20th position. His last T20 batting rank was 32. At the same time, Jason Roy scored 103 runs which has helped him to grab his career best position 25.
