Knights meets Canterbury Kings in the 24th match of the tournament in New Zealand’s own Super Smash T20. Both the teams are fighting for a place in knockout round. Knights vs Canterbury Kings, match scheduled to start at 4 PM Local | 8:30 AM IST on Thursday, 29 December.

Then, Knights top-order batsmen came with stunning performances against Aces and won a game by 9 wickets. Wicket Keeper batsman Watling scored an half century and remained not out with score of 53 runs. His opening partner Brownlie also came with quick half century and scored 54 runs. Big Hitter Corey Anderson finished the match with his big hits. Knights needs another good performances from their players to defeat Kings and advance themselves to 3rd spot in the table.

Canterbury Kings has 16 points to their credit after playing 7 matches. With 16 points Kings is at no. 3 in the table. Kings has won 4 matches and lost 3. Their NRR are poor compare to the second place Aces. Due to negative NRR, Kings is at no. 3 in table. In their last match, Kings defeated Volts by 16 runs. Opening batsman Chad Bowes scored brilliant half century for Kings. With some contributions from middle order batsmen, Kings managed to post 152 runs in 20 overs. Bowler Ed Nuttall picked 2 wickets but he was very expensive on that day. Jamieson and Astle bowled brilliant spells which controlled the oppositions. Good performances and a win from here will take Kings to top 2 of the table. Therefore, Kings should come with clinical performances to advances in top of the table.
