FANTASY PREVIEW – BBL – MATCH 7 – SYDNEY SIXERS VS PERTH SCORCHERS

Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney is hosting 7th match of Big Bash League season 6 on Tuesday. Sydney Sixers battles with Perth Scorchers in match no. 7 and the match is scheduled to start at 7:10 PM Local | 1:40 PM IST on 27th December, 2016. This is going to be 3rd match for Sixers and 2nd at home ground. Perth Scorchers starts their season with convincing win on Friday at home and sets to play first away game of the season on Tuesday.

Sydney Sixers started the season with convincing win against Sydney Thunder in season opener. Sixers outplayed Thunder in that opening game and performed so well with both bat and bowl. Sixers won that match by 9 wickets. Bollinger, Dwarshuis and Mennie picked 2 wickets each and half centuries from captain Henriques and Daniel Hughes confirmed Sixers victory. But, Sixers failed to maintain the momentum at home agianst Hurricanes on Friday. Hurricanes scored 200 runs in 20 overs, except Johan Botha all other bowlers gone very expensive in that game. Then, while chasing huge target, Sixers batters failed to live up to the expectation and bowled out for 140 runs in 17th over. As playing another home match on Tuesday, Sixers in a position of re-group quickly and win the game comfortable against strong Scorchers. Moises Henriques and co. has lot of talented batsmen and bowlers in the side and they could come back to winning ways at any time.

Team from Western part of Australia, Perth Scorchers played their opening game at home on Friday and won that game against Adelaide Strikers in convincing passion. With the help Former England batsman Ian Bell and Ashton Turner, Scorchers posted 197 runs on the board in 20 overs. Scorchers bowlers controlled Strikers and helped the side to win by 48 runs. Brilliant spell from England All rounder David Willey who picked 2 for 15 in 4 overs he bowled. Also, Former Australian speedster Mitchell Johnson came with a spell of 3 for 33 in 4 overs. Two times Champs should play well at Sydney on Tuesday to assure a win against Sixers. Klinger who got out early on other day should play long innings to secure Scorchers second win. Along with him, captain Voges and others also should bat well to post good total. David Willey, Tye and Richardson should come up with good spells to secure a points from this game. Return of Shaun Marsh gives lot of positive energy to this group for sure.

He could replaces expensive Agar on Tuesday. Also James Muirhead in the side, if he in playing XI, Jhye Richardson would make a way for him.
