SOUTH AFRICA Vs AUSTRALIA – FINAL ODI PREVIEW & LINEUPS

The host South Africa are in a position to inflict whitewash against the no. 1 ODI side. South Africa won all four games in this series and led 4-0 and they are facing the World Champions one last time in the series, later on today evening at Cape Town. Australia failed to register a win in the series and now they have a last chance to avoid another loss and the first whitewash against South Africa.

South Africa has made four changes in the last ODI on Sunday by resting Steyn, Rabada and Tahir. As series whitewash is on a sight, all of them may return to XI today and in that case Tabraiz Shamsi and Kyle Abbott may be misses out. For Australia, their bowling line-up are a big concern and they tried all combinations. But, it did not work on their favor. Also, batsman Usman Khawaja waiting for his opportunity, today he may replace Aaron Finch who scored only one half-century in 4 innings as an opener.

One of the most experienced opening batsman in the world, Hashim Amla has knows as a pillar of South Africa’s batting order and he sets good start for his team at top of the order. The 33-year old batsman from Durban made his ODI debut in 2008 against Bangladesh. He has played 139 matches and scored total of 6494 runs with 23 centuries and 30 half-centuries. His highest score were 159 and his ODI averages are 51.53. Amla missed first 2 ODIs in this series due to illness. He scored quick fire 45 in the third ODI and got out for just 4 runs on Sunday. He is always hunger for runs. Hopefully, he will play some good innings with his classic touches today and give you lot of Fantasy Points!

He proved his worth with bat too. At Durban, Phehlukwayo and Miller’s partnership helped South Africa to win the match by record setting second highest chasing in ODI history. Andile Phehlukwayo cemented his place already as an all-rounder.

That innings in BBL, brought him to International cricket at age of 22 and he playing in the middle-order for Australia. He scored 235 runs in 10 ODI innings till now with high score of 51.
