England Squads are Announced for Bangladesh Tour!

After lot of questions and doubts, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) finally confirmed England Tour of Bangladesh, recently. The current England Captain in ODIs Eoin Morgan and opening batsman Alex Hales has cleared their view on this tour and they are not in. Today ECB announced the squads for both Tests and ODIs vs Bangladesh, the tour begins on October!

As Morgan and Hales are not part of the squads, ECB selectors came up with some interesting choices for this tour. The 19 year old Haseeb Hameed selected for Bangladesh tests and he would be Alastair Cook’s opening partner in this series and replaces Alex Hales. Gareth Batty, the 39-year old Surrey spinner got his chance now and he is in the squad along with Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid. Gareth Batty’s last appearance for the National side were on 2005, so he coming to England squad after over a decade. Along with these two players, the recent sensation of county cricket, Ben Duckett got his place in both Tests and ODI squads.

As Eoin Morgan not part of this tour, Jos Buttler named as a Captain for ODI series.
